Darlan Da Silva Candido was the recent recipient of the Applied Bioinformatics & Public Health Microbiology prize, awarded by Wellcome Connecting Science.
The prize was awarded to the CADDE PhD student for his short talk at the Applied Bioinformatics & Public Health Microbiology virtual conference, presenting findings on ‘Genomic surveillance of a novel SARS-CoV-2 variant of concern in Manaus, Brazil’.
